Jeff & Sheri Easter

Regular price $25.00 $0.00

Jeff & Sheri Easter tour full time and had a dream to be able to host a concert series at Sheri's family's, The Lewis Family Homeplace. Each year, during Mothers Day weekend, they host a concert featuring some of the best in Southern Gospel and Country Gospel music. If you would like to donate to Jeff and Sheri's tours, their concert series or The Lewis Family Homeplace, you may do so here. We appreciate all of your support!

More about Sheri's family and the homeplace:  Sheri's mother, Mrs. Polly Lewis Williamson Copsey, died peacefully in her sleep after a 16 year battle with Parkinson’s disease and Lewy Body dementia.  She was an honorable wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Polly was the daughter of James Roy “Pop” Lewis and Pauline Holloway Lewis and was a native of Lincoln County, GA.  Polly was loved by countless millions as a singer through her live performances and television appearances both locally and internationally with the Gaither Homecoming video series, during her 58 year gospel music career with her family, The Lewis Family.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that any that wish may give a donation to The Lewis Family Homeplace.

About the Lewis Family Homeplace

The Lewis Family Homeplace was crafted in 1935 by Pop Lewis, patriarch of the Lewis family, and was the birthplace to many of the Lewis Family children.  Affectionately known as the "First Family of Bluegrass Gospel Music," the Lewis Family is renowned for their long career in Bluegrass Gospel music.  Pop Lewis was an inductee in the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame and until his death in March 2004, received numerous lifetime achievement awards. The family has been inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and has performed in many prestigious venues including the Lincoln Center and the Smithsonian Institute.

Located at 1935 Lewis Family Road in Lincolnton, Georgia, this project will honor the Lewis family and their dedication to Bluegrass Gospel music while enhancing the historical value of Lincoln County. For years, we have dreamed about restoring this treasured landmark to its original condition, and now we have the opportunity. If you have followed the Lewis Family through the years or experienced a concert along the way, we would love to give you the chance to be a part of this effort.
